Host Dolibarr without installing anything
The ERP written in France: you switch on the modules you need, from quotation to numbered invoice, and the membership module alone is enough to run a club.
Starting at €8.99/month
Introduction
Dolibarr installed, updated and backed up by us, on a machine in France. The reference French ERP and CRM for small firms and associations: quotes, invoices, customers, stock, members and accounting. Developed and maintained in France. You install nothing and configure no server: the application is online a few minutes after you order, under your own name.
The plan that suits it is App Confort at €8.99/month incl. VAT — 4 GB of memory. Dolibarr is written in PHP on top of a MariaDB database and stays frugal in daily use: it is the bursts that need room. PDF generation goes through TCPDF, which loads the font and the layout into memory for every document; sending subscription reminders to three hundred members produces three hundred files in a row; and the import module swallows a whole file before writing it to the database. Those 4 GB are for those moments, not for browsing.
People arrive here from a per-seat accounting package or from a spreadsheet. Dolibarr has an import module with ready-made profiles — third parties, contacts, products, members, journal entries — that read CSV and XLSX files once you say which column goes into which field. The other way round, every list exports in both formats, your accountant receives a compliant statutory accounting export, and a REST API lets an existing website plug in. There is no official mobile app: the interface works from a phone, mostly to look up a customer record while out.
What managed hosting changes
Modules you switch on one at a time
Third parties, quotations, orders, invoices, products and stock, projects, expense reports, contracts, interventions, members, the TakePOS till. A menu appears when you enable its module and disappears when you switch it off: the screen only shows what you actually use.
Invoices numbered the way the law wants
The chain runs from quotation to order, then invoice and payment, with no retyping. Numbers follow each other without gaps, and a validated invoice can no longer be edited: you cancel it with a credit note. VAT, the chart of accounts and the statutory accounting export are part of the software.
A real membership module
Membership types, subscriptions with their due dates, reminders, receipts, membership cards, and a public join page you link from your website. This is why so many French associations run on Dolibarr.
Open through its API and its modules
A documented REST API, LDAP authentication, and the DoliStore for add-ons — signature, electronic invoicing, bank connectors. These are optional extras, to be installed knowingly.
Why hand it over rather than install it
An association with three hundred members
Subscriptions have a due date, reminders go out by email, receipts are printed, and the outgoing treasurer hands over a tool rather than a ring binder. The public join page saves retyping new sign-ups.
A tradesperson issuing forty quotes a month
An accepted quote becomes an order in one click, then an invoice, and the payment is recorded against it. No more skipped numbers or invoices nobody can find at year end.
A distributor that ships
Stock drops when the shipment is confirmed, delivery notes come out as PDFs, and alert thresholds say what to reorder. Multiple warehouses are handled if you have two.
A practice tracking its engagements
One project per case, with time and expenses attached, and profitability visible before the assignment ends rather than after.
A company getting ready for its accountant
Invoices are allocated to accounts in the chart of accounts, and the statutory export goes out once a financial year. The exchange stops being a batch of scans.
Hosted in France
The software is developed in France, and here the machine is too: our own infrastructure in Nouvelle-Aquitaine, which we operate ourselves. Your customers, your margins and your members do not leave the country.
Frequently asked questions
Through the Import module, which offers ready-made profiles: third parties, contacts, products, members, journal entries. You export a CSV or XLSX from the old software, say which column goes into which field, and a dry run reports the rejected rows before anything is written. Order matters: third parties first, then products, then documents. Balances come across as an opening entry, without replaying history.
Every list exports to CSV or XLSX from the screen it appears on. Accounting produces the statutory export that the tax administration asks for and your accountant knows how to read. And since everything lives in a MariaDB database, a full database export plus the documents folder is enough to reinstall the application elsewhere exactly as it was.
The Salaries module tracks payments; it does not produce payslips — that work stays with payroll software or with your accountant. Double-entry accounting has to be configured, with allocation accounts and journals, and that configuration is done once, properly. Many DoliStore modules are paid. And it is not an online shop: Dolibarr manages the catalogue and the stock, while selling on the internet needs a website and a gateway.
App Confort, at €8.99/month incl. VAT. It provides 4 GB of memory where the application asks for 1.5 GB at minimum: the headroom serves the system, not the decor. You can change plan later without reinstalling.
Yes, they are part of the service. On a tool that carries your invoicing, that is also what ensures the regulatory changes the project follows reach you without your having to think about it.
