Dedicated servers: when virtualisation is not enough
What having the whole machine changes.
A dedicated server is a whole physical machine, rented monthly, that nobody else shares. No neighbour, no hypervisor above you, no pooled resources: the processor, the ECC memory and the disks are yours alone, from the first cycle to the last.
When it becomes the right choice
When you need constant, predictable performance — heavy databases, computation, encoding, large-volume processing. When you want to install your own hypervisor and run your VMs with no imposed limit. When your data must stay on identified hardware for contractual or regulatory reasons. Or simply when several VPS added together cost more than one whole machine.
What we offer
Our fleet runs from low-power micro-servers, useful for a VPN, a DNS or continuous monitoring, up to a dual Xeon with 128 GB of RAM and 40 GbE networking for heavy virtualisation and storage. In between: machines for frequency-sensitive game servers, storage-oriented configurations with many drive bays, and versatile servers for small businesses.
All are on monthly rental with no minimum term, installed in our datacentre in France, with Anti-DDoS protection included. As available configurations change with each intake, availability is shown per offer — some machines are in limited stock.
Before taking the step
A dedicated server is unmanaged: you are its administrator. If you want the flexibility of virtualisation without handling hardware, the Proxmox VDS covers much of the same ground on a smaller budget. And if your need fits on a single virtual machine, the Linux VPS remains the simplest entry point.
Frequently asked questions
A VPS is a virtual machine: several customers share the same hardware, each with reserved resources. A dedicated server is the entire physical machine, yours alone — processor, ECC memory and disks included. Nobody else runs on it, which gives constant, predictable performance.
No, they are unmanaged: you are the machine's administrator. We provide the hardware, the network, connectivity and Anti-DDoS protection; the operating system, updates and backups are your responsibility.
Our fleet is made of real configurations, in finite numbers. "Limited stock" means few units of that exact configuration remain. An offer marked "Out of stock" cannot be ordered for now, and "Soon" announces a machine being prepared.
Yes, the machine is yours: you install the operating system and hypervisor of your choice. If you want virtualisation without handling hardware, our Proxmox VDS ships Proxmox VE already installed on a virtualised base.
No. Our dedicated servers are offered as a monthly rental with no commitment: you renew month by month and stop whenever you want.
In our datacentre in France, on infrastructure we operate ourselves. Your data stays on identified hardware, which matters for contractual or regulatory requirements.
