Host Odoo without installing anything
The community edition of Odoo: you install only the modules you need, and you open as many accounts as you have colleagues, with no per-seat licence.
Starting at €15.99/month
Introduction
Odoo installed, updated and backed up by us, on a machine in France. A complete business suite: sales, purchasing, stock, accounting, payroll, website and point of sale in a single application. The community edition, with no per-user licence. You install nothing and configure no server: the application is online a few minutes after you order, under your own name.
The plan that suits it is App Performance at €15.99/month incl. VAT — 8 GB of memory. Odoo is the heaviest application in the catalogue, for a precise reason: every Python worker process loads your database registry in full — every model, field and view of the installed modules — and you need several of them for ten people to work at once. Alongside that, PostgreSQL keeps its indexes cached, printing a quote or an invoice spawns a rendering engine each time, and stylesheets and scripts are recompiled on the first page load after an update.
People arrive here from a spreadsheet, from software licensed per seat, or from Odoo Online when the billed modules are not being used. Every list view has an import button that reads CSV and XLSX files, with column mapping and external identifiers to attach a product to its category or an invoice to its customer; export works in both formats, and an XML-RPC and JSON-RPC API lets an existing website plug in. In the field, the web interface adapts to a tablet for point of sale, and the Odoo mobile app connects to a self-hosted instance once you enter its address.
What managed hosting changes
Modular: install what you actually use
Sales, Purchase, Inventory, CRM, Project, Timesheets, Website, Point of Sale, Manufacturing. Each module adds its menus and shares the same data: a quotation becomes a delivery note and then an invoice with no retyping, and stock moves on its own.
No per-user licence
This is the community edition, under a free licence: you open an account per colleague, including the one who only ever logs hours. What is missing are the modules reserved for the Enterprise edition — Studio, advanced accounting, Sign, Helpdesk — not a number of seats.
Import and export on every screen
Any list view imports from CSV or XLSX with column mapping, and exports in the same formats. External identifiers link records to each other, which makes a data migration repeatable instead of a one-shot attempt.
Shop, website and till on one database
The website builder, online sales and point of sale read the same catalogue and the same stock. A sale at the till lowers the quantity shown on the site, with no gateway to maintain.
Why hand it over rather than install it
An eight-person trading firm leaving spreadsheets
Quotes, purchase orders and stock levels used to live in three workbooks that never spoke to each other. Here the same product record carries the buying price, the selling price and the real quantity, and reordering triggers on a threshold.
A workshop that builds before it sells
Bills of materials describe what goes into each product, manufacturing orders consume the components and produce the finished item. You know what raw material is left without going to count it.
A retailer with a shop and a website
The till runs in a tablet browser, the online shop shows the same catalogue, and both draw on a single stock. In the evening, the takings from both channels are in the same report.
A practice billing for time spent
Everyone logs hours against the task, the project adds them up, and the invoice is built from approved time. The client receives the detail of what they are paying for.
A company paying per seat today
The warehouse hand, the apprentice, the salesperson who passes through: each can have an account without the monthly bill moving. That single point is often what decides the change.
Hosted in France
An Odoo database holds your customers, your margins and your salaries. Yours stays in our own infrastructure in Nouvelle-Aquitaine, which we operate ourselves, and the person on the phone speaks your language.
Frequently asked questions
Through Odoo's CSV and XLSX imports, in order: customers and suppliers, then products, then open documents. Accounting balances come across as an opening entry rather than by replaying history. Let us be blunt: this is not a click, it is a small project — but external identifiers make the import repeatable, so you can get it wrong, fix the file and start again without damaging the database.
Every list view accepts a CSV or XLSX file with column mapping; the XML-RPC and JSON-RPC API covers the rest. A database from Odoo Online restores from its export and its attachment folder, with one condition: modules reserved for the Enterprise edition will not load here, and screens that depend on them have to be replaced by their community equivalent or by an OCA module.
Three things to know. The community edition does not include Studio, Helpdesk, electronic signature, marketing automation or advanced analytic accounting. Moving from one major version to the next is not a simple update: it is a database migration, to be planned rather than triggered on a Friday evening. And payroll localisation is not covered by the stock modules; invoicing, the French chart of accounts and the FEC export are, through the French localisation.
App Performance, at €15.99/month incl. VAT. It provides 8 GB of memory where the application asks for 2 GB at minimum: the headroom serves the system, not the decor. You can change plan later without reinstalling.
Yes. Odoo Community is free software: we host it, we do not own it. The PostgreSQL database and the attachment folder can be exported from the administration screen and reinstalled elsewhere as they are.
