Requesting service cancellation
How do I request the cancellation of a service?
Cancellation is requested from the page of the service concerned, in six steps.
- Open the relevant service page
- Click "Cancel service"
- Choose a cancellation reason from the list
- You may add additional details
- Choose the cancellation type
- Confirm
What is the difference between immediate and end-of-period cancellation?
End of period lets the service run until its due date; immediate cancellation suspends it right away.
- End of period: the service remains active until its expiration date
- Immediate: the service is suspended without delay
In both cases the period already paid is not refunded automatically, so choosing end of period lets you use what you paid for to the very end.
Can I withdraw a cancellation request?
Yes: as long as the cancellation has not taken effect, the request can be withdrawn from the same page.
Click "Cancel service" again and choose "Undo cancellation". The service then returns to its normal renewal cycle.
