Automatic subscriptions
An automatic subscription allows your service to renew without manual action, by automatically charging your saved payment method.
How do I enable automatic renewal for a service?
You enable the subscription from the service page, by choosing a payment method you have already saved.
- Go to your service page (My Account → Services → [your service])
- In the "Subscription" section, select a saved payment method
- Optionally, set a billing day (between the 1st and 28th of the month)
- Click "Enable subscription"
How do I cancel an automatic subscription?
From the same section, click "Cancel subscription": the charging stops, but the service itself keeps running.
Your service stays active until the end of the period you already paid for, it simply will not be renewed automatically. Cancelling the subscription is not the same as cancelling the service.
Can every service be put on a subscription?
No: the service type must accept recurring payments, and a card must be saved on your account.
Note: Automatic subscription availability depends on the service type and configured payment gateway. Your service must support recurring payments and you must have a saved payment method (a card saved via Stripe) or choose your credit balance. If no billing day is chosen, the charge is attempted 3 days before the due date.
