Starting at from €7.99/mo

Introduction

Service operated by our subsidiary Gamost, specialist in game server hosting. Ordering, panel and billing happen on gamost.com.

Released in early 2024, Palworld shattered every record with over 25 million players in a few weeks and a Steam peak above 2 million concurrent players. This mix of Pokémon, ARK and Zelda with a capture mechanic works equally well in solo and in co-op for up to 32 players on a dedicated server.

Palworld is very RAM-hungry: 8 GB minimum for a stable server, up to 16 GB for crowded worlds with many built bases. The open world with thousands of catchable Pals, automated bases and persistent AI entities needs a sized infrastructure and fast storage for frequent saves.

Unlike the P2P mode (client-hosted) capped at 4 players and unstable, a dedicated Palworld server delivers a continuous 24/7 multiplayer experience: your world and your Pals keep existing even when you are offline, your friends can join any time. By-Hoster / Gamost ships sized offers from €7.99/mo with dedicated RAM and NVMe storage.

Guild community

Public 16-32 slot server with rules, events and a custom economy. Moderation via admin plugins and auto logs.

Frequently asked questions

4 GB RAM: works for 4-6 players with a basic world and few bases. Risk of crash on spikes. 8 GB RAM: recommended for 8-16 players, medium bases, smooth gameplay. 16 GB: 16-32 players, busy world with dozens of bases and many raised Pals.

Partially yes. Palworld runs on Unreal Engine 5 and UE5 mods (pak files) can be installed on the server side via the Pal/Content/Paks/ folder. Community modpacks (balance, economy, custom Pals) are supported. Watch out: players need the same mod on their client to join.

The server saves automatically every 10 minutes by default (configurable). Saves live in Pal/Saved/SaveGames/. Gamost also ships external automatic backups (NVMe snapshots) kept for 7 days, restorable in one click from the panel.

Pocketpair (the developer) officially supports up to 32 concurrent players per dedicated server. Beyond that, community optimisations enable 50+ players but with performance trade-offs. For 32 active slots, plan for 16 GB RAM and a high-frequency CPU.

The P2P mode (in-game multiplayer) needs the host to stay online, caps at 4 players and freezes progress when the host disconnects. A dedicated server runs 24/7 (up to 32 players), keeps the world active at all times, lets you configure every variable (rates, PvP, etc.) and delivers a noticeably better experience for playing with friends or a community.

The Palworld dedicated server (PalServer) is free on Steam (App ID 2394010), separate from the client game. No need to buy Palworld to host. Players who join obviously need the game. Gamost installs PalServer automatically at provisioning time.
